2-3.Installing on Windows XP
To install on Windows XP, follow the steps through:
1)Insert the bundled CD-ROM and right-click on [WNASPI32.INF] file
at the [ASPI32] folder at the [U2SCX] folder, and then, select [Install] from
the pull-down menu.

2)The next step is different as follows, depending on whether you have daisy-
chained some SCSI devices or not:

2-1)
If you have daisy-chained SCSI devices, or connected only one scanner,
proceed to Chapter 2-3-1 to install a RATOC original driver.
2-2)
If you have connected only one SCSI device such as HDD, Zip, Jaz, CD-
ROM, CD-R/RW, DVD-RAM/ROM/RW, proceed to Chapter 2-3-2 to
install a Microsoft Windows XP standard driver.
If you have daisy-chained SCSI devices, or connected only one scanner,
proceed to Chapter 2-3-1 to install a RATOC original driver.
2-2)
If you have connected only one SCSI device such as HDD, Zip, Jaz, CD-
ROM, CD-R/RW, DVD-RAM/ROM/RW, proceed to Chapter 2-3-2 to
install a Microsoft Windows XP standard driver.
