Remove the pump cap.
Remove any loose debris/fluff from inside the pump
and clean the pump. The pump impeller must be
able to rotate. Clean any residual suds or fluff from
the thread of the pump cap and pump housing.

Attach and tighten the pump cap.
Attach and close the cover plate.
