Gatekeeper
Administrator Settings > Site Settings
E.1 Gateway Prefix
.
 Alias prefix if 
registered as a Gateway.
Current Status
.
 Displays the status 
of Content Server registration with the 
gatekeeper. (Registered or not registered).
Enabled
.
  Choose  Enabled  to  attempt 
registration with the Gatekeeper.
Gatekeeper Discovery
.
 Gatekeeper 
Discovery configuration can be set to 
MANUAL or AUTO.
Manual
 – The system will use a specific 
gatekeeper identified by Gatekeeper IP 
address.
Auto
 – The system will automatically try 
to register on any available gatekeeper. 
If a gatekeeper responds to the request 
sent from the codec within 30 seconds 
this specific gatekeeper will be used. 
This requires auto discovery on the 
gatekeeper as well.  If no gatekeeper 
responds, the system will not use a 
gatekeeper for making H.323 calls and 
hence an IP address must be specified 
IP  Address
.
  This  gatekeeper  IP-address 
will  be  used  if  you  specify  Gatekeeper 
Discovery: Manual.
Port
.
 This port setting should not be 
changed unless the local network 
configuration specifies a different port.
Registration
.
 Choose to register the Content 
Server as a Terminal or as a Gateway.
H. Gateway Prefix
.
 Alias prefix if 
registered as a Gateway.
Restart Service
.
 Restart Service will terminate calls that are currently live (that is, the 
calls will be ended and conferences will not be available for on demand playback). 
Before restarting the Service, check if there are live conferences in progress in the 
Live Conferences page or check the call status on the LCD panel of the unit. The Site 
Settings page will also display a warning if calls are in progress. If you click on the 
Restart Service
 button while calls are in progress, you will be asked to confirm if you 
want to go ahead with the Restart.
