"Display Points of Interest"

Select the setting.

If you only know the location of the town or
street, you can enter the destination using the
map.

"Navigation"

"Map"

The map section is displayed. The map shows
the current position of the vehicle.

  "Interactive map"

Select the destination with crosshairs.

To change the scale: turn the controller.

▷

To shift the map: move the controller in
the required direction.

▷

To shift the map diagonally: move the
controller in the required direction and
turn it.

If the system cannot recognize a street, it dis‐
plays a street name in the vicinity or the coordi‐
nates of the destination.

Additional functions are made available on the
interactive map by pressing the controller.

  Select a symbol: "Start guidance" or

"Add as another dest."

▷

"Exit interactive map": return to the map
view.

▷

Select "View in northern direction".

▷

"Display destination": the map section
around the destination is displayed.

▷

"Display current location": the map section
around your current location is displayed.

▷

"Find points of interest"

Instructions for 

During destination entry, you can switch be‐
tween voice entry and entry via iDrive at any
time. To do so, reactivate the voice activation
system if necessary.
You can have the available spoken instructions
read out loud via: ›Voice commands‹
