Access the Run... command:

x is the letter of the disk drive in which you inserted the system software
disk or CD-ROM.
The downloading process takes less than a minute. During the downloading pro-
cess, the Disk light blinks, and the messages

appear in the printer’s message window.
After the updated system software has been written to flash ROM, the printer

the amount of memory currently installed in the printer and identifying the current
version number of the system software (for example,

Remove the disk or CD-ROM from the PC, and store it in a safe place.

Insert the QMS
magicolor 2 DeskLaser printer drivers disk or CD-ROM in the
appropriate disk drive on your PC.

From the Windows 95/98 Start menu choose Settings.

in the Printers window.
