Coarse filter
Larger items, such as pieces of bone or glass, that could clog the d rain are trapped
in the coarse filter. To remove an item cau ght in this filter, gentl y squeeze the tabs
on t op of this filter and lift it out.

For your convenience, we have placed the drain pump and filtering system with in easy reach inside the tub.
There are three compone nts of the filtering system: the main filter, the coarse filter, and the fine filter.

Please follow steps 1 through 3 in order to remove the filter system.
In order to reinstall, please perform the steps in reverse order.

Protecting Against Frozen Pump Damage

1. Cut off the electrica l power to the dishwasher.
2. Turn off the water supply and disconnect the water inlet pipe from the water valve.
3. Drain the water from the inlet pipe and water valve. (Use a pan to catch the wa ter)
4. Reconnect the water inlet pipe to the water valve .
5. Remove the filter at the bottom of the tub and use a sponge to soak up water in the sump.

It is important to protect your pumps from frozen water damage caused by th e drop of internal home temperature.
If your home temperature goes below 34

for a long period of time, you can have ice build in the lines and around

the motors. Have your plumber follow the b elow ste ps if you water pipes freeze.

Cleaning the Spray Arms

It is necessary to clean the spra y arms re gularly in order to prevent the
clogging of the jet s an d bearings f rom hard water chemicals.

To remove th e up per spray arm, turn the nut clockwise and remove the arm.

To remove the lower spray arm, pull it upward.

Wash th e arms in soapy warm water and use a soft brush to
clean the jets. Replace th em after rinsing them thoroughly.
