1. Connectivity/Use of new product options with older models
I. The figure below indicates the applicability of new options on previous (released before August, 1999) models

II. Ultra wide or Ultra2 Wide on C300 series
The new C300 series (GP5C377, GP5C378, GP5C379) supports Ultra2 Wide SCSI.
To use new C300 series as an Ultra2 Wide system, Ultra2 Wide HDD, Ultra2 Wide SCSI (RAID) card and Ultra2
Wide SCSI cable are required
Previous models (GP5C300 to GP5C375 - Released Jul,1999) cannot support Ultra2 Wide even if Ultra2 Wide
SCSI HDD, card & cable are mounted.
For connection details, please refer to "Available SCSI cards for C300i"
