This section provides instructions on how to replace a memory module.
1.

Open the computer cover. See “Opening the cover” on page 154.

2.

Pivot the drive-bay assembly upward to gain access to the system board.

3.

Locate the memory connectors. See “System board connectors” on page 153.

4.

Remove the memory module being replaced by opening the retaining clips as
shown.
