The weight saver protects the multipurpose bay when it is 
empty.

To attach the weight saver, proceed as follows:

If another device is in the multipurpose bay, remove the 
device.

Slide the weight saver in the direction of the arrow until it 
clicks into place.

To remove the weight saver, proceed as follows:

Slide the multipurpose bay release lever on the bottom of 
the computer in the direction of the arrow.

Remove the weight saver.
