Monitoring Features
Monitoring a Channel
Use the Monitor feature to make sure a channel is free before
transmitting.

Permanent Monitor
Use the Permanent Monitor feature to continuously monitor a
selected channel for activity.

Procedure:

Press the programmed Permanent Monitor button.

Radio sounds alert tone, and the LED lights up solid yellow.

Press the programmed Permanent Monitor button to
remove the radio from permanent monitor mode.
