Emergency numbers
Emergency numbers are preset to local requirements. You can also save additional 
emergency numbers. The emergency numbers are valid for all handsets. Emergency 
numbers can still be dialled even if your handset is barred for external dialling.

Displaying and dialling an emergency number
You can dial an emergency number from a handset that is barred for external dialling 
(page 72) (page 117) directly or as follows.

Enter the system PIN (factory setting: 0000) and con-
firm.

Enter or change the emergency number and press 
the display key.
Save Entry
 
Confirm. The entry is stored.

You can delete a stored emergency number with

The handset is barred for external dialling:

Press the talk key
[RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR]
EmerCall
Press the display key. The available emergency num-
bers are displayed. If only one emergency number 
has been stored, this will be dialled immediately.

Select the emergency number and confirm. The con-
nection is set up.

If an access code has been set up (page 76), this will be placed in front 
of the emergency number automatically.
When the keypad lock (page 10) is active, you cannot even call 
emergency numbers.
