PROBLEM
SOLUTION
No sound is output 
while I’m watching 
the Kitchen TV.
•  If the TV is muted, the refrigerator plays the TV program with no sound output. Make 
sure the TV is unmuted.
Video or sound 
is disconnected 
irregularly while 
I’m watching TV.
•  A busy network can cause the TV to be disconnected. Check the network connection 
and try again if necessary.
In Mirroring mode, 
the refrigerator 
cannot find my 
mobile device.
•  Use Easy Setup to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
•  Go to the mobile device, and make sure the refrigerator is registered to the Smart 
Home app.
•  Make sure the mirroring function is enabled on the mobile device.
Mirroring fails 
or disconnected 
irregularly.
•  Check the Internet connection status.
•  Make sure the current password matches the password that you set on the mobile 
device.
The video screen 
is not displayed 
properly in 
Mirroring mode.
•  Some video sources are protected by DRM and cannot be played without 
authorization. Contact the contents provider for details.
The refrigerator 
indicates a 
successful Easy 
Connection but 
the mobile device 
warns me of a 
failure.
•  Easy Connection may fail depending on the network status of your router or modem 
or the Samsung server. In this case, the refrigerator can still connect to the Internet 
but fails to sync with the mobile device. To restore the sync with the mobile device, 
run Easy Connection again.
Time sync fails 
even though the 
two devices are 
connected to the 
same network.
•  Time sync may fail depending on the network status your router or modem or the 
Samsung server. If this occurs, set the time manually or try a different router or 
modem for the connection.
I have entered a 
valid security key, 
but the connection 
fails.
•  The connection will fail if your router or modem is set to Manual with invalid setting 
values. Tap IP Address to check the network settings.
•  If the problem persists in Automatic mode, check if your router or modem is working 
properly by connecting another mobile device to it. If there is no problem with the 
router or modem, press Reset to restart the refrigerator
I cannot access 
the Calendar 
account screen.
•  On the Home screen, tap and hold the Calendar icon for 5 seconds to reset your 
Calendar account settings.
