Place rear log onto the two locating pins located 

on the rear log shelf in the back of the fi rebox.

Place left and right logs into recesses cut out for 

them on the left and right side of the burner.  Log installation 
is complete.

Apply dime size pieces sparingly along front 

edge of burner. Do not completely block ports.

•  Follow ember placement instructions in 

manual.

•  Do NOT place embers directly over 

burner ports.

•  Replace ember material annually.

Explosion  Risk.

Improperly placed embers interferes with proper burner 
operation.

Place individual pieces of embers in front of and around the 
gas log where they can be seen. Space them so that gas can 
contact them on all sides. Try to avoid stacking the embers 
on top of each other. This will assure maximum brightness 
and effi cient use of the catalyst promoting brighter, cleaner 
burning embers.

NOTE: Do not block gas ports.

Install approved accessories per instructions included with 
accessories.  Refer to Section 12 for appropriate accesso-
ries.
