Remote Loopback Test

Issue 2   November 1996

Local Loopback Test with Self-Test to isolate the source of the problem between 
the data terminal equipment and the 8400B Plus Data Module’s EIA interface or 
the communications channel.

To initiate the test, set up a data call and escape to command mode (

). Then 

type:

AT&T6 

The system responds with:

This test will continue for the period of time indicated in S-register 

S18

.

To terminate the test before the test timer expires, type:
