Note: 1. Power distribution modules can be safely installed when the PDU is operational.

     2. Install only APC-supplied PDMs with matching output voltage.
     3. Install PDMs starting from the bottom of the panel to avoid cable congestion. 

1 Open the front door of the PDU.  

2 Remove the filler plates. Press down on the filler plate clip to release 

its locking mechanism.

Pull the filler plate directly toward you and along the slot on the left 

side of the panel until it is free.

3 Install a module. Make sure all breakers on the PDM 

being installed are in the OFF (open) position.

4 Press the red button to release the latch on the PDM.

5 Pull open the latch.
