NOTE: The ULTIMA LE-1 takes approximately 10 seconds to com-

OPTIMIZING PERFORMANCE WITH A TEST CD
If you have access to a CD, DVD, or laserdisc with special test sig-
nals, you can more accurately optimize the subwoofer’s phase adjust-

all ULTIMA SUB-15s, if more than one is present in the system).

1. Locate a source that is either a band of pink noise centered at or
near 80 Hz, or a warble tone or sine wave near 80 Hz.
2. Turn off all system power and reverse the + and – connections
to the ULTIMA SUB-15(s).
