You do not need to modify the HyperTerminal’s baud rate if you have chosen 9600 bps, and thus you 

can skip Step 5 and 6 and go to Step 7 directly. At this time, the system will not display the above 

information. 

 

5) Click 

Disconnect in the HyperTerminal window to disconnect the HyperTerminal from the switch 

before setting a baud rate. 

6) Select 

File > Properties in the HyperTerminal window, click Configure in the popup dialog box, 

and select the baud rate of 19200 bps in the console port configuration dialog box.
