The NMS uses the additionalInfo attribute to 
communicate to the EMS any other 
information required to create the 
multiLayerSubnetwork. 

The structure of Additional Info is as follows: 

NETWORK PARTITION  subnetwork 

name 

Name of the network 
partition where the 
subnet is added.

The parameter name “Type” in additionalInfo can have the following values: 

•  SONET 
•  SDH
