Set DNCS Logging Levels
Introduction
Before you begin using the signonCount utility, you must set the logging levels for
three DNCS processes, hctmConfig, hctmMac, and hctmProvision. This will ensure
that the DNCS captures the maximum level of detail for these processes.

Setting the DNCS Logging Levels
To set the logging levels for the hctmConfig, hctmMac, and hctmProvision
processes, complete the following instructions.
1  From the DNCS Administrative Console, select the Utilities tab.
2  Click Logging. The Logging Summary window opens for this host.
Scroll until the hctmConfig, hctmMac, and hctmProvision processes come into
view.

4  Are all logging levels (Emergency, Alert, Critical, Error, Warning, Notice, Info,
Debug) selected for the three processes?

If yes, go to What to Look for in the signonCount Data (on page 11).

If no, go to step 5 to set the logging levels.
5  Click the radio button in the Select column for one of the processes, then select
the corresponding check box for each logging level.
