Correcting Skew

Corrects the skew of images scanned with scanners.

In the page list in the Preview window, select a
page you wish to correct.
(The image is skewed slightly to the right.)

Select [

Tools] menu, then [Enhancement], and

[

Correct Skew...].

[

Correct Skew] dialog box appears.

Place a check mark on [

Preview], and click on

[

Detect Skew].

Check

Click

Skew is automatically detected and corrected.
Click on [

OK] to correct the skew.

In the Correct Skew dialog box, it is recommended that you enable [

Preview]. If [Preview] is

checked, you can conﬁrm changes that you have made while editing the image.

If you wish to correct the skew manually without using the [

Detect Skew] function, drag the

[

Angle] slider on the slide bar to adjust the skew.

When you wish to undo editing

Select [

Undo] in the [Edit] menu to undo the most recent image editing. Alternatively, press the

[

Ctrl] key, and [Z] key simultaneously to undo the editing.
