Useful Functions

Eliminating Noise and Enhancing Edges

You can use functions such as noise elimination, and edge enhancement to make the scanned images clearer.

Eliminate Noise

Eliminates noise (blurring) due to ground reﬂection for clearer images.

Enhance Edges

Enhances edges of pictures or letters for clearer images. (Please refer to NOTE.)

In the page list in the Preview window, select a
page you wish to correct.

Click

Select [

Tools] menu, then [Enhancement],

[

Eliminate Noise], and [Selected Pages...].

Click

[

Eliminate Noise] dialog box appears.

Check [

Preview] and drag the [Eliminate

Noise] slider to adjust the appearance of the
image.

Check

Slide

Click [

OK].

Noise elimination is completed.

When you wish to use Enhance Edge function

Follow the same procedure, select [

Tools] menu,

then [

Enhancement], and [Enhance Edge...] to

enhance edges.

When you wish to undo editing

Select [

Undo] in the [Edit] menu to undo the most

recent image editing. Alternatively, press the [

Ctrl]

key, and [

Z] key simultaneously to undo the editing.
