General
The code switch is a combination of a hand transmitter and a digital code switch
and, besides the receivers which are mostly already available, does not require any
additional equipment.
NOTE:
Before fitting the radio code switch, please check whether the radio signal can be
received by the receivers in the chosen fitting area. Direct fitting on metal impairs
the range, so fit the radio code switch at a distance of 2-3 cm away.
868 MHz: When used at the same time, gsM 900 mobile phones can affect the
range of the radio remote control.
The FCT3b is powered by a standard 9V block battery (see Fig. 1). successfully
made entries and alterations are stored and retained even in the event of a voltage
loss. Via three individually selectable 4-digit access codes just as many functions
can be activated by radio control; i.e. using an FCT3b unit it is possible, for
example, to actuate up to three door/gate operators by impulse.
available in addition is a direct function (not protected by an access code), with
which, likewise wireless and together with a corresponding receiver, other devices,
e.g. a bell or outdoor lighting, can be operated. Illumination of the keypad starts as
soon as a key is pressed and extinguishes approx. 20 seconds after the last key is
pressed.
Fitting
Following successful installation (see Fig. 1), insert the battery accordingly.
