Useful hints
NOTE! You cannot start a new recording, if a
recording is already in progress, or if the hard
disc is full of protected recordings. Also, you
cannot record programmes copy-protected by
Macrovision.
Timer
Timer programming
Timers can be edited while in progress, but some fields will be
inaccessible. Red start and stop times in the ‘TIMER INDEX’ menu
indicate recordings which overlap.
The ‘TIMER PROGRAMMING’ menu contains additional options when
you set ‘FEATURE LEVEL’ to ‘ADVANCED’. See p. 59.
HDR – Record a programme
If the optional hard disc is full and you set a Timer recording or start a manual
recording, the TV automatically makes room for the new recording by deleting
old unprotected recordings.
