Overview
ET 200iSP power supply unit is the designation for the combina-
tion of one (standard) or two redundant power supply modules
PS with the matching terminal module:

Functions of the power supply modules
• They provide the ET 200iSP with the safely isolated operating
voltages for
- logic (via the backplane bus),
- PROFIBUS DP interface (IM 152-1),
- power bus (for powering the electronics modules).
• They handle the safety-related limitation of the output voltage.

Design
Depending on the operating mode (standard or redundant), one
or two power supply modules are plugged onto the correspond-
ing terminal modules. Hot swapping is also possible in the haz-
ardous area.
The operating status of the power supply modules is displayed
The operating status of the power supply modules is displayed
on two LEDs on the IM 152 interface module (one for each mod-
ule).

must not be removed in the hazardous area. The feeding power
supply must be installed in the non-hazardous area.
