 Additional scan settings - t he link opens a new Computer shutdown options

dialog where you can decide whether t he computer should be shut down
aut omatically once t he running scanning process is over. Having confirmed t his
opt ion (Shutdown computer upon scan completion), a new option act ivat es t hat
allows t he computer t o shut down even if it is current ly locked (Force shutdown is
computer is locked).

Should you decide t o change t he default  configuration of t he Scan specific files or
folders you can t hen save your new set t ing as t he default configurat ion t o be used
for all further scans of specific files or folders. Also, t his configuration will be used as a
t emplat e for all of your newly scheduled scans (

Besides t he pre-defined scans launched for t he entire comput er or its select ed areas,
AVG also offers t he opt ion of quick scanning of a specific object  direct ly in t he
Windows Explorer environment. If you want t o open an unknown file and you cannot
be sure of its content,  you may want  t o have it  checked on demand. Follow t hese
