Once a cycle is selected, you will have the option of adjusting wash settings such
as wash/rinse temperature, spin speed, and soil level. You may also add options
such as Presoak and Extra Rinse, if available for that cycle.
You can either go to the Adjust Settings menu to manually select settings for the
load, or select Stain Assist, which will calculate the best settings for the stain.
If you select Adjust Settings, you may manually choose and
adjust each setting individually using the buttons across the
bottom of the screen. If an option is not available, it will be
grayed out and cannot be selected. You may also use the
adjustment palette to calculate the best settings based on a
quicker, gentler, cleaner, or more energy efficient wash cycle,
or a combination of properties.
If you select Stain Assist, the washer will take you through 4 easy
steps to determine the best settings for the stain. The washer will
then calculate the best combination of temperature, wash time,
and wash action for the stain and fabric.
