To assign a previously created loopback interface to an NVE interface, use the source- interface 
loopback command in NVE interface configuration mode. To remove the loopback interface from the 
NVE interface, use the no form of this command.

source-interface loopback number

no source-interface loopback number

NVE interface configuration (config-if)

The following example maps a loopback interface to an NVE interface:

Router(config)# interface nve 1

Router(config-if)# source-interface loopback 0

The loopback interface assigned to the NVE interface.

Configures the NVE interface and enters NVE interface
