Troubleshooting
This section provides useful information to help you resolve difficulties
you might have with your AXIS 5500/AXIS 5550. Fault symptoms,
possible causes and remedial actions are provided within a quick
reference table.

Support question.
General
The USB port in an AXIS 5500 / AXIS 5550 supports USB printers only. If
any other USB device has been connected to this port, the print server
must be restarted before it can function properly again.
Overriding Port Status
Some USB printers do not deliver correct port status to the print server
(for instance always reporting printer off-line even if the printer is on-
line). To override this, see “Overriding Port Status” on page 123.
