CDMA Measurements - Screens and Control Fields

The 

 field controls three functions: 

•

 arms the CDMA analyzer. The CDMA analyzer needs to 

be armed only when 

 (see below) is selected. 

•

 selects between “single” measurements and 

“continuous” measurements. 

— When 

 is chosen, you must arm each measurement by 

selecting the 

 field (see above). 

— When 

 (continuous) is chosen, measurements are 

automatically armed. 

The default selection is 

.

•

 disarms the CDMA analyzer during single operation. To stop 

continuous measurements, select 

. Selecting 

 does not 

prevent the analyzer from being re-armed during continuous 
measurements 

CDMA ANALYZER

This field is used to arm or disarm measurements when making a 
single measurement (does not affect continuous measurements). 
Selecting 

 stops the analyzer during a single measurement.

COD DOM (Code Domain Analyzer): main controls menu

This field is used to select the type of signal (forward or reverse link) to 
analyze.

•

 sets the analyzer to look for base station transmitter data 

(forward link). 

•

 sets the analyzer to look for mobile transmitter data (reverse 

link).
