This section describes how to install the printer driver for the Mac OSX using the AppleTalk 
protocol.

This section describes the procedures for installing the Apple printer driver.

¾

Ensure the printer is on and that AppleTalk has been enabled (see “Network 
Communication Setup” on page 5-3).

¾

Select [Printer Setup Utility] and click the [Add] button.

¾

Choose AppleTalk from the drop-down menu.

 All printers on the subnet will be listed.

¾

Choose the WorkCentre 4118.

¾

Choose Xerox from the Printer Model list.

¾

Choose Xerox WC 4118 Series PS as the printer driver.

¾

Click the [Add] button.

¾

Continue with Test Print on page 5-7.

When you finish installing the printer driver, set the PostScript Printer Description (PPD) file 
for this machine to the printer driver.

The printer driver controls the functions of this machine based on the information in the PPD 
file.
