Playback Mode is used to check images that have been shot.

Important images can be protected against accidental erasure. 

• You cannot use this operation while the SD memory card is write-protected. For write protect, 

see 

(page 13).

Turn on the power and set the mode select dial to “

”.

Use [PROTECT ALL] to protect all images at a time. Use [UNPROTECT ALL] to cancel the 
protection.

button to select the image you wish to protect.

Press the MENU button to display the 

 mode menu screen.

Press 

 

or 

 

button to select [PROTECT], then 

press the 

 

button.

Select [EXECUTE] and press the 

 

button to pro-

tect the image.

When [

] appears, the setting is completed.

The protected images will not be erased even if [ERASE ALL] is 
executed, but they will be erased when the memory card is 
formatted.
