7.  Remove the needle plate ( C ).

8.  Put on the standard needle plate ( S ).

9.  Raise the cutter.

10. Replace the needles according to desired 

stitch.

11. Snap on the standard presser foot ( S ).

12. Turn the handwheel by hand to set the 

needle to the lowest position.

13. Move the Chain / Cover select lever from “C” 

to “S”.

(Turn the handwheel by hand to make sure that 

the upper looper moves.) 

14. Slide on the standard cover ( S ) to the front 

cover.

15. Close the front cover.

16. Put on the fl atbed and free arm cover.
