Installing the HDC-401EX Driver in the Computer
(Windows 98/98SE)
If your computer is running Windows 98/98SE, the HDC-401EX driver must be 
installed in the computer first.Install the HDC-401EX driver in the computer
through the procedure specified below.
Once the driver has been installed properly, you can skip this procedure from
the next time you connect your HDC-401EX to the computer.
If you have any difficulty in driver installation. Please access following URL.

If your computer is running Windows Me/2000/XP, the driver will be 
installed automatically, so this procedure need not be performed.

Do not connect the camera to the computer until the software installation is
complete. Also, be sure to close all other applications beforehand.

Start the computer and set the CD-ROM supplied with your
HDC-401EX in the computer

s CD-ROM drive. 
The installation menu is displayed automatically.
If the installation menu is not displayed, open My Computer and double-
click Setup(.exe) under HDC-401EX.

Click Install HDC-401EX Driver.

When the Welcome wizard screen is
displayed, click Next.
