f Taking pictures continuously
Available Shooting modes: All
CAUTION
When [
 CCD-RAW] is set to [ON] in the [SET-UP] 
menu, up to 3 frames can be shot.
Available Shooting modes: All except , 
Shooting continues up to 50 frames as long as the shutter 
button is held down (approx. 7 frames/sec.). Use this 
mode when your priority is continuous shooting speed 
over image quality, during continuous shooting.
CAUTION
• [
 FILM SIMULATION] will be set to [
 PROVIA].
• [
 DYNAMIC RANGE] will be set to [AUTO].
• The options of [
QUALITY] (
➝p.89) are not available. 
Even if you set the quality beforehand to 5 or higher, 
the quality is limited to 3 or under. The restriction is 
cleared when you select another shooting mode.
• This mode cannot be used when [
 CCD-RAW] is set 
to [ON] in the [SET-UP] menu.
Available Shooting modes:

The camera automatically varies the dynamic range 
setting, and 3 frames are shot continuously in order of 
100%, 200% and 400%.
CAUTION
• ISO sensitivity is restricted. For details, see p.74.
• This mode cannot be used when [
 CCD-RAW] is set 
to [ON] in the [SET-UP] menu.
