Profile management

Enable

Profile management can be used to easily
connect the SLA5520 to seperate networks.
Example - Profile 1, network settings @ home.
Example - Profile 2, network settings @ work.
Profile 1, 2 and 3 are enabled. Before saving
settings, the profile must be selected.

Disable

Disable profile 2 and 3. All settings are only
applied to profile 1.

Code management

Enable

Only, for experienced users - Up to 4 security
codes (WEP) can be stored. 
Only one is active at any one time.
Storing 4 security codes (WEP) makes it easy
to cycle security codes (WEP) for better
security.

Disable

Preferred - Only one security code (WEP) is
needed to connect to the network. Only 
one security code (WEP) can be entered.

Edit device name

Enter the network name (SSID) of the
network.

Proxy server

Enable

Only for experenced users or for networks
on professional sites - Requests for internet
content are directed via the proxy server.

Disable

Preferred - Requests for internet content are
send directly to the main highway of the
Internet.

Select time zone

Change the time zone to comply to the region 

where the SLA5520 is used.

Daylight savings

Disable

No automatic adjustment for winter/summer
time.

Enable

Automatic adjustment for winter/summer
time.

Select time format

Change the time format to comply with your
preferred time format.

Select profile

Profile 1

Only available when Advanced settings - 

Profile 2

Profile management is enabled.

Profile 3

Load settings from the profile.
