Deleting Files

Previously stored files can be deleted either 
one at a time or all at once.

  Perform steps

Of Images” ( 25).

  Press 

MENU.

  Select “MEMORY CARD” ( ).

  Select “DELETE”, press 

SET. The 

DELETE Menu appears.

•  Press 

£ whenever you want to 

return to 

the previous menu screen.

  Select “CURRENT”, press 

SET. The 

DELETE screen appears.

  Select “EXECUTE”, press 

SET.

•  To cancel deletion, select “RETURN”.
•  Repeat steps

Note:

If the “

x” mark appears, the selected file is 

protected and cannot be deleted.
To delete all files stored in the memory 
card

  Select “ALL”, press 

SET. The DELETE 

screen appears.

  Select “EXECUTE”, press 

SET.

•  To cancel deletion, select “RETURN”.

Notes:

•  Protected files ( 26) cannot be deleted. To 

delete them, remove protection first.

•  Once files are deleted, they cannot be 

restored. Check files before deleting.

Setting Print Information 

(DPOF Setting)*

This camcorder is compatible with the DPOF 
(Digital Print Order Format) standard in order 
to support future systems such as automatic 
printing.
*  Up to a maximum limit of 999 stored files in 

the memory card.
