Heavy Vibration
Too high blade speed
Do not exceed 540 PTO RPM.
Broken/bent Blade
Replace with genuine RHINO blades. 
See your RHINO dealer.
Worn/Unbalanced Blade
Grind uniformly, rebalance and replace
Bent/broken Sheave
Replace parts.
Trash Hung on Blade
Clean off Blade.
Belt Slipping
Belt loose
Tighten or replace with Special
RHINO belt.
Belt Glazed
Use belt dressing or replace.
Oil on Belt
Clean or replace.
Belt Slippage
Mower overloading, material
Reduce tractor ground speed but
too tall or heavy
maintain full PTO rpm. Cut material
twice, one high pass and then mow at 
desired height. Cut a partial swath.
Oil on belt from overlubricate
Be careful not to overlubricate.
Clean lubricant from belt and pulleys 
with a clean rag. Replace oil soaked 
belt.
Belt hung up or rubbing
Check belt for free travel in pulleys
and belt guides. Check under mower 
and around blade spindle shafts for 
wire, rags or other foreign material. 
Clean all material from under mower.
Frayed Edges on
Belt misaligned or belt 
Re-align belt or guide. Be sure belt
Belt Cover
rubbing guide
doesn’t rub any other part while
running.
Pulley misalignment
Inspect to ensure belt is running in 
center of backside idler. Shim idler as 
necessary to align
