To lubricate the leadscrews:
1. disConneCt mill/drill From poWer!
2. lower the headstock as far as you can with-
out the spindle contacting the table surface.
3. use mineral spirits and a brush to clean as
much of the existing grease and debris as
possible off of the vertical leadscrew shown

4. apply light machine oil to the exposed
leadscrew threads, then move the headstock
through its full range of motion several times
to disperse the oil along the full length of the
leadscrew.

as far forward as possible.

and a brush to clean as much of the existing

10. apply light machine oil to the exposed
