As there are so many kinds of enve-
lopes, be sure to check if those to be
used are supported by this printer.

❒ Even when the optional envelope

feeder is not installed, you can
specify the sizes for the envelopes
for Tray 2 using the operation pan-
el. However, make sure that the
envelopes cannot be loaded into
the tray without the envelope feed-
er.

❒ To install the envelope feeder, in-

stallation of the optional paper
unit is required.

❒ Please refer to the inside of the

front cover of this manual to con-
firm which printer (Type 1 Printer
or Type 2 Printer) you have.

❒ With the bypass tray, you can load

up to 5 envelopes at a time. For

see P.74 “Paper types and cautions” .
