• Do not use the vacuum cleaner without dirt container and/or filter in place.
• Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in 

areas where they may be present.

• Store the vacuum cleaner indoors. Put the vacuum cleaner away after use to prevent

tripping accidents.

• Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches or hot ashes.
• The hose contains electrical wires. Do not use when damaged, cut, or punctured.

Avoid picking up sharp objects.

• Unplug before connecting turbo floor nozzle.
• Hold plug when rewinding onto cord reel. Do not allow plug to whip when rewinding.

To the consumer, Royal Appliance Mfg. Co. warrants this vacuum cleaner to be free of defects in material or workmanship
commencing upon the date of the original purchase. Refer to your vacuum cleaner carton for the length of warranty and
save your original sales receipt to validate start of warranty period.

If the vacuum cleaner should become defective within the warranty period, we will repair or replace any defective parts free
of charge. The complete machine must be delivered prepaid to any ROYAL Authorized Sales & Warranty Service Station.
Please include complete description of the problem, day of purchase, copy of original sales receipt and your name, address

To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully
in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the
proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.

This vacuum cleaner is equipped with a motor protective thermostat. If for some reason your
vacuum overheats, unplug the vacuum from the wall outlet and turn off the switch. Replace
dust bag or empty dust cup and clean filter. Check for blockages in hoses and/or suction inlet.
Allow the unit to cool for a minimum of 45 minutes prior to restarting the unit. To restart;
re-plug the vacuum into the wall socket and turn the switch back on.

Le moteur de cet aspirateur est protégé par un thermostat. En cas de surchauffe, débranchez
l’aspirateur et mettez l’interrupteur en position arrêt. Remplacez le sac à poussière et nettoyez le
filtre. Vérifiez que les tuyaux et/ou l’orifice d’aspiration ne sont pas obstrués. Laissez l’aspirateur
refroidir pendant 45 minutes au minimum avant de l’utiliser. Pour redémarrer l’apirateur,
branchez-le et mettez l’interrupteur en position marche.

Grasp tab on dirt container lid  (Diagram 1) and pull
out of dirt container. NOTE: For best results, tap filter
against wastebasket to remove remaining dirt.

Remove filter assembly by
twisting counter clockwise
in order to clean filter.

dirt from filter by tapping
against edge of garbage can or
clean out filter pleats by using
the yellow cleaning brush
(located under the dirt container).

by pulling off the end of

Lift tab on bottom of turbo
nozzle and remove clog.
Snap back into place when

ATTACHMENT INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL
1. The hose can be used alone or with many combinations of wands and tools.
2. Attachments are packaged separately in the box. To store on the unit, simply slide them into

the tool clip already located on the extension wands.

3. To remove the tool, pull apart gently. To unlock the wand, rotate and then pull apart.
NOTE: Please follow these instructions for attaching all other accessories.

1. Plug power cord into outlet.
2. Attach hose and desired attachment.
3. Turn power on (ON/OFF switch located on handle grip 

or body of cleaner depending on model).

4. Pull handle back into cleaning position.

NOTE: For cleaning drapes, throw rugs, or other loose 

items, you may need to reduce the suction to
prevent sucking the item into the cleaning tool. To
reduce suction, adjust control on handle grip.

BEFORE STORING CLEANER:
1. Turn unit off.
2. Unplug and rewind power cord.
3. Place tools in tool clip.
4. Collapse extension wands and place them into one of two storage wand clips 

(See diagram or use additional wand clip located on bottom of cleaner).
