 Do Not Touch the Lens
Avoid touching the camera lens when opening or closing the sliding lens cover.
 The Camera Clock
The clock battery charges when the main battery is installed or an AC adapter is connected,
and can provide several days of backup power after about 10 hours of charging.  The clock and
birthday counter may be reset when the battery runs low; when the battery is exhausted,
the
DATE menu will be displayed automatically.  If the clock is not set, a   (“date not set”)
icon will fl ash in the monitor during shooting.  Pictures taken while this icon is displayed will
have a time stamp of  “00.00.0000 00:00,” while movies will be dated “01.01.2005 00:00.”
