Background Grid
To help you align and position the Footprints, you can display a
reference grid on the Skin background. To toggle the gridlines on or
off, select “View > Gridlines” from the Menu.

Importing Skin Backgrounds
You can add your own images for Skin backgrounds. To import a
background image, select “File > Import Skin Background” from the
Menu. You can use “.bmp”, “.jpg”, or “.gif” type image files. Once
imported, these images are available for use with any of the Skins
you have created.
Note: When printed, a Skin is 240 mm wide by 170 mm high.

Exporting Skin Backgrounds
Skin background images can be exported as image files from the
Ergodex Manager software. To export a skin as an image file, select
“File >Export Skin Background” from the Menu.

Copying Skin to Clipboard
If you would like to capture the current Skin image (both the
background and the Footprints), you can copy the current Skin to the
Windows® Clipboard. Select “Edit > Copy Skin to Clipboard” from
the Menu. Once you have copied the Skin to the clipboard, you can
paste and edit the image in other graphics programs.

Deleting Skin Backgrounds
Skin background images can be deleted by selecting “Edit > Delete
Skin Background” from the Menu. You can only delete the currently
selected Skin background. Once you delete a Skin background, it will
no longer be available for use in any other Skin.

Printing Skins
Once you have created your Skin, you can print it by selecting “File >
Print” from the Menu. After you have printed your Skin, you can cut
or fold the paper around the Skin border, and place it between the
Key Tray and the Pad.

Returning to Main Screen
To exit the Skin View utility and return to the Ergodex Manager Main
Screen, select “View > Main Screen” from the Menu.
