Status Area

On the bottom of the print driver tabs when the printer is connected to your computer
over a network and 

Some features are only supported by specific printers, operating systems, or driver
types. You may see more features or options listed than what your specific system
supports.

The following items are displayed below the picture of your printer:

• Device status icon:

: Ready to print.

: A problem, such as low paper in a tray, that you may want to know about but
doesn't prevent printing.

: A problem that prevents printing.

: Displays the levels of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black toner or ink.

•

: Displays the level of paper in the trays.

•

: Displays if you choose to be notified when your job is done printing or cannot be
printed.

• More Status button: Click to view the

Appears when you click the More Status button in the

print driver tab.

Use this tab to view the status of the device.
