Saved Job Dialog Box
Appears when you select Saved Job or Print and Save for
.
Use this dialog box to generate a job that will be retained at the machine for future
reprinting. You can assign a job name and desired job format.
Select one of the following types of saved jobs:
• Save: Stores the job on the print server for reprinting.
• Save and Print: Stores the job on the print server for reprinting and prints the job as
specified.
Select one of the following options to assign a Job Name:
• Use Job Name: Uses the job name assigned by the application.
• Clear List: Clears any entries in the Job Name box.
Select a Format for the saved job:
• Printer Default:
• Single-page TIFF: Saves the job in TIFF format. Each page of the print job is saved
as a separate TIFF.
• Multi-page TIFF: Saves the job in TIFF format. All pages of the print job are saved in
one TIFF.
• PDF: Saves the job in a single Adobe Acrobat PDF file.
• Fast Reprint: Saves the job in Fast Reprint Format (FRF) and does not require the job
to be re-Ripped when it is resubmitted for printing.
• Fast Reprint with DRI: Saves the job in Fast Reprint Format (FRF) to enable fast
reprinting. The Display Resolution Image (DRI) setting also enables the job to be
viewed and/or edited at the print server.
NOTE
If you type a new job name, you can only enter Roman characters (such as b, c, 1,
2, ä, ï). If you enter a non-Roman character (such as Chinese or Japanese characters),
question marks display in the Job Name field and the file name is saved on the
printer hard drive with the question marks. You can enter the file name as well as
the relative path (include the forward slash "/"). You may use no more than 255
characters in total, including the relative path.
Saved Background Form Dialog Box
Appears when you select Saved Background Form for
.
The Saved Background Form dialog enables you to create a form on the Xerox system
that will behave as a pre-printed form. When you print a job with a background form,
the document and form are merged, and the resulting document appears as if it has
been printed on top of a pre-printed form.
