for the covers, click the button to the right of the summary to open the paper selection
drop-down menu, which contains the following menu items:

Named Paper: Select this menu item to choose from a personalized list of papers.

Other Size: Select this menu item, and then select Use Job Settings or the paper
size desired for the covers.

Other Color: Select this menu item, and then select Use Job Settings or a color for
the paper to use for the covers.

Other Type: Select this menu item, and then select Use Job Settings or the type
of paper or media to use for the covers.

Other Weight: Select this menu item, and then select Use Job Settings or the
weight of paper or media to use for the covers.

Advanced Paper Selection: Select this menu item to set the characteristics for
the covers.
• <printing options>: Select one of the following options for the front and back covers:
-
Blank or Preprinted: Uses blank or pre-printed document covers. The covers are
collated and processed with the print job but no text is printed on them.

Printed: The covers for the document are processed and printed as part of the job.
NOTE
For single-sided printing, the first and last pages of your document print on the
covers. For two-sided printing, the first page of your document prints on the
front of the cover and the second page prints on the back of the front cover.
Insert a blank page (page 2) if you do not want the back of the front cover to
be printed.
• Job Settings: Displays the attributes of the paper for the main body of the document.
If you select Use Job Setting for any paper attribute (size, color, or type), the setting
displayed here is used for that attribute of the cover.
Edit Inserts Dialog Box
Appears when you select an insert in the table on the 
then click the Edit button below the table.
