Setting Layout Options
The Layout feature enables you to control the placement, rotation, 
cropping, and scaling of source document pages onto the printed 
output. This process is commonly known as Imposition.
To Set Layout Options
1. Open Job Manager.
2. Select each job that you want to edit. If you select multiple 
jobs, the properties for each selected job can be accessed 
using the Job ID/Name menu within the Job Properties 
window.
3. Click Edit Job Properties.
4. Select the Output Format detail.
5. Select an option from the Layout (N up) menu:
6. You can submit your job or continue editing job properties.

About Layout Options
The following layout options are available:
1 Up: The 1 Up Layout Style centers the image on the 
output sheet.
2 Up: The 2 Up Layout Style places two images on a single 
page. You can impose page 1 and 2 on one sheet of paper 
or you can impose two of the same images on one sheet. 
The output can be single-sided or double-sided. 
4 Up: The 4 Up Layout Style places four images on a 
single page. You can impose pages 1-4 on one sheet of 
paper, or you can impose four of the same images on one 
sheet of paper. The output can be single-sided or double-
sided.
8 Up: The 8 Up Layout Style places eight images on a 
single page. You can impose pages 1-8 on one sheet of 
paper, or you can impose eight of the same images on one 
sheet of paper. The output can be single-sided or double-
sided.
