Cisco Cisco Agent Desktop 8.0 Technische Referenzen

The browser returns HTTP Status 404 after entering the CAD-BE 
URL.

An incorrect URL for CAD-BE was used. Make sure the correct URL is 
used. The URL is case-sensitive. The correct URL is:

http://<BIPPA server host>:8088/cadbe/CAD-BE.jsp

The browser returns the error “The page cannot be displayed”.

The browser cannot communicate with the Tomcat service.

Make sure the IP address or hostname is for a valid BIPPA 
server.

Make sure the port is 8088. The port to use is specified in 
<Parameter name=”port” value=”8088”/>, under <!-- Normal 
HTTP --> section in C:\Program Files\Cisco\Desktop\Tomcat\
conf\server.xml.

Check NT services to make sure the Tomcat service on the 
BIPPA server is running.

Make sure port 8088 is not blocked from the client or server 
computer. 

A popup message indicates that CAD-BE is unable to connect to the 
BIPPA service. The CAD-BE log also shows “CADBE1002: Could not 
connect to BIPPA service.”

The BIPPA service may be down or is not active.

If this is a redundant system, the URL used may be pointing to 
the standby BIPPA service. Use the active BIPPA service. 

■

Start the BIPPA service if it is down.
