Cisco Agent Desktop Configuration 
Setup
You can use the Cisco Agent Desktop Configuration Setup application to configure 
the CAD services.
The CAD Configuration Setup application initially runs when the CAD services are 
installed. After initial installation, you can change your configuration settings by 
launching it from Desktop Administrator.
NOTE:  Depending on how your system is configured, you may not see all 
available configuration windows. You may need to run Configuration Setup 
on the PC that hosts the service you wish to configure. You can start the 
application by double-clicking PostInstall.exe, located in the ...\Program 
Files\Cisco\Desktop\bin
 folder on the machine that hosts the 
service. 
The first time Configuration Setup runs, it runs in Initial Mode. Thereafter it runs in 
Update Mode; this is the mode you will see when it is launched from Desktop 
Administrator.
To modify configuration data in Update Mode:
1. In the navigation tree, select the logical contact center node.
2. Choose Setup > Configure Systems.
CAD Configuration Setup starts and displays the CAD Directory Services 
dialog box.

3. Ensure that the correct primary (and optional secondary) Directory Services 
IP addresses are entered, and then click OK.
