Battery Management      
The A440 supports both Li-Ion and Ni-MH Battery Pack. There is only one battery pack 
activating at one time.  
 
3.6.1 Battery-Powered 
Mode 
This mode assumes that the mobile system is powered only from the battery. The purpose of 
this is to maximize battery life. 
 
3.6.2 AC-Powered 
Mode 
In this mode it is assumed that the mobile system is powered from an external AC/DC source. 
The purpose of this state is to maximize performance subject to thermal constraints. 
 
3.6.3 Battery 
Sub-system 
•  The charger will stop charge the battery when the following condition is detected. 
−  The temperature of the system is too high
