Solution

The safety cut-out has 

switched off the appliance.

If the fryer does not work anymore, turn to your 

Philips dealer or a service centre authorised by

Philips.

’Error 3’ appears 

on the display.

The safety cut-out has 

switched off the fryer.

To reset the fryer, pull the plug out of the wall

socket and let the oil or fat cool down. Put the

plug in the wall socket again and try to switch

the fryer back on.

“Error 2’ or ‘error 

4’ appears on the

display.

The appliance has to be

examined.

Turn to your Philips dealer or a service centre

authorised by Philips.

The oil or fat

foams strongly

during frying.

The food contains too

much moisture.

Dry the food thoroughly before you fry it.

The type of oil or fat you

use is not suitable for

deep-frying food.

Use frying oil or liquid frying fat of good quality.

Never mix different types of oil or fat.

You have not cleaned the

inner bowl properly.

Clean the inner bowl as described in these

instructions for use.
